Celebrating Growth and Welcoming New Members
Together, We’re Building a Stronger Legion!

Thanks to your dedication, 2025 marked our fourth year of membership growth, building a strong foundation for our Centenary year in 2026. With new members joining every day, every interaction with new Centenary Members matters—reaching out early to welcome them, helping them get to know the Branch, and inviting participation at their own pace shapes their experience and encourages them to stay engaged. Your care and thoughtful approach make all the difference—thank you for everything you do!

How to Create a Branch Email to New Centenary Members

First impressions matter. A well-crafted welcome email helps new Centenary Members feel valued, informed, and excited to be part of the Legion.

New members automatically receive a welcome email from Legion Headquarters, which includes information about their membership, digital card, and available member benefits. Branches are notified of new members through the Branch’s dedicated Legion email address (##-###@legion.ca). When you receive notice of a new member, reach out promptly with a friendly message from the Branch.

Use our sample email to greet new members and invite them to the Branch—giving every member a positive start to their Legion experience.

Remember to Get New Member Email Addresses

Some new members don’t have an email in their membership profile. Without it, they miss their digital membership card, Legion magazine, monthly member newsletters, special offers, renewal reminders, and more. Collecting emails—through the Member Portal or submitting emails to Member Services using this form —helps members stay informed, engaged, and connected.

Whenever possible, make it a priority to collect and update member emails—every email counts!
