Campaign agreements: TD Bank and Starbucks

TD Bank Branches and Starbucks corporate locations will collect Poppy donations through their point-of-sale systems and send funds by EFT to the nearest Legion Branch Poppy Fund after the campaign. National Headquarters has supplied Poppies and Poppy boxes. No Branch action is required.

This does not include licensed Starbucks locations. Branches interested in working with these stores should contact the store manager directly.

Campaign agreement: Costco

Costco is once again welcoming local Legion Branches to distribute Poppies in their location vestibules from October 31 to November 11. Costco has requested that volunteers do not sell any merchandise to Costco members on premises. Additionally, Costco kindly requests that volunteers dress professionally and, if able, stand while accepting donations.

Commemorative Crosswalk Template

During the Remembrance period and throughout the year, a growing number of Legion Branches and communities are developing commemorative crosswalks to honour Veterans.

The Remembrance Poppy is a Legion trademark and may not be used in any situation where it may be trod upon. To support Branches and communities with their crosswalk initiatives, the Legion is providing an alternative commemorative crosswalk stencil template to honour Veterans.

Helping Canadians Everywhere Wear a Poppy

Poppy Distribution through Amazon Canada

As not every community across Canada has a Legion Branch, we’ve partnered with Amazon Canada to help ensure that Canadians everywhere can wear a Poppy this year. Through this collaboration, the Legion storefront on Amazon.ca offers lapel Poppies for donations of $5, $10, and $20 until November 11.

One hundred percent of donations raised will go directly to the Legion’s Poppy Trust Fund to support our Veterans and their families.
