The reports provide email contact lists that Branches can download and use when sending emails to active or dormant members. | It’s important for Branches to keep member profile information up to date on the Legion database so that members receive relevant Legion communications. | For questions or assistance with reports, please contact Member Services at 855‑330‑3344. | Important legal requirements around member data and emails | Canada’s Privacy Laws and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) have clear and direct implications for The Royal Canadian Legion. Cannabis Research Study: University of Waterloo Research Project | The University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy is conducting research on the use of cannabis with the aim to identify effective self-education tools for medical cannabis use in chronic pain. The University is seeking Canadian Armed Forces serving members and Veterans with chronic pain (physical or mental, with >3 months duration) that have used, or are interested in using, medical cannabis for their pain. Participants must be willing to complete a 15-minute online survey to share their medical cannabis self-education needs, preferences and experience. | Interested in participating? Your Legion calendar | On June 6, take a moment to honour the service and sacrifice of those who fought in the Battle of Normandy. Some 359 Canadian soldiers were killed in the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, also known as D-Day.
